Arab Mahrajan Festival Closes Out Labor Day Weekend at Director Park

The 15th Annual Arab Mahrajan festival takes over Director Park in downtown Portland today, September 6, from 1 to 7 p.m. — a free celebration of Arab culture with food, a bazaar, live music, dance, poetry, and henna, drawing families from across the metro area to cap off the long weekend.

It's one of several events wrapping up Labor Day weekend around the region, alongside Art in the Pearl's final day in the North Park Blocks and the Oregon State Fair's last day in Salem — plenty of options if you're looking for one more thing to do before the holiday weekend wraps up and everyone heads back to work and school tomorrow.
